BY GLG EDITORIAL POLICY
What the audience can verify
This policy explains how By GLG identifies sources, states test conditions, discloses commercial context and corrects factual errors.
PUBLIC VERSION 1.0 · UPDATED AUGUST 28, 2026WHAT IT APPLIES TO
Every By GLG publication in French and English
This policy applies to videos, review pages and editorial articles published under By GLG. It covers sources, observations, opinions, commercial context, corrections and relevant limits from August 28, 2026.
SIX COMMITMENTS
Simple rules to distinguish facts, use and opinion
Name the source
Every specification, promise, figure or statement supplied by a manufacturer, retailer or third party is attributed to its source and kept distinct from By GLG observations.
State the observation conditions
An observation includes the limits needed to understand it: product and version reviewed, period of use, environment, settings and known conditions when relevant. It does not apply to every unit or every use.
Disclose the commercial context
Any loan, gift, discount, payment, affiliation, invitation or other benefit linked to content is clearly indicated in the video, page or article concerned, in a form accessible to the audience.
GLG keeps control of production
A collaboration, payment or product supply never transfers control of production. GLG directs the production and publication; the conclusion remains Greg’s own.
Make factual corrections visible
A confirmed significant factual error is corrected visibly and dated in the publication concerned whenever technically possible. The correction identifies what changed without retrospectively rewriting the opinion.
Say what was not verified
Information that cannot be verified is presented as uncertain or omitted. Tests not performed and limits that may affect the conclusion are disclosed when relevant.
A FACTUAL ERROR TO REPORT
Report — verify — correct
Report
Send the publication, the disputed point and the source or evidence that supports the report.
Verify
Greg compares the report with the product, available sources and material used for the publication.
Correct
When the error is confirmed, the correction is made visible and dated without giving control over the opinion.
WHAT A REVIEW DOES NOT GUARANTEE
A test in use is not a laboratory certification
By GLG content reports on use in stated or visible conditions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, it is not an exhaustive laboratory test, a certification or a guarantee of identical performance for every unit, environment and use.
